Ginny’s Helping Hand Thrift Store offers a wide variety of gently used and brand-new items, including clothing, shoes, outerwear, accessories, and a small selection of household goods for all ages and styles. Whether you’re shopping for yourself or your family, there’s something for everyone.

Our Impact
When Ginny’s Helping Hand first began serving the community, we were assisting just 9 to 11 families a day. Today, due to increasing food, housing, and utility costs, we are seeing an alarming rise in the number of people seeking help.
In 2024, the demand for support more than doubled. Ginny’s Helping Hand served over 53,000 guests and assisted around 17,900 households across North Central Massachusetts—a staggering increase of 22,000 guests and 7,500 households compared to 2023.
Unfortunately, many individuals and families who were once financially stable are now struggling to meet the rising costs of basic needs. These challenges highlight the critical need for community support and resources.

The food pantry used to be an emergency resource to close a gap in grocery needs. but as groceries, utilities and housing costs have gotten more expensive. people are relying on food pantries as a primary source.
